Before we all get too excited..we weer lucky tonite to beat a team that was more pathetic than we have been. Not to be negative, but geesh we had 12 shots entering in the 3rd period. 12 shots last game and 15 in a lucky win against Philly. Having said that, I did at least see some DESIRE in the 3rd period and I see Theo being solid. I called out the first line today (and I am sure they read it lol) and they showed up. We desperately need these guys to show up every night. Not once every 6 games.  Now..if you all will excuse me..me and my lucky habs thong are off to the country bar.

I was at work for the first 2 periods, but was able to catch bits of it in between flights. Then came home for the 3rd. I can't comment on the 1st 2 periods however, I am glad they got the 2 pts, they needed it, and theo needed it as well. We'll see what happens.

And-O- as I said, we desperately need these guys to step up. And we need them every night. As habs fans, we love Koivu but if he is to remain a hab he needs to lead this team like he did tonite. To his credit, he did. Now once again..I need to take my thong to the bar..the cows..err..women are waiting

One thing about the Leafs is that they have a lot of grit and they block a lot of shots.  I am glad to see we finally started to use our speed in the 3rd, as that is the only way we are going to win games.

You know what's funny is And-o had nothing to say about Super Sundin today. Nor does he have anything to say when BG doesn't coach a good game. It seems he has a hate on for certain people, i.e. Saku and CJ.... Not sure what they have in common but one good thing tonight is Bonk was very limited with ice time...
