Absolutely STUPID clearing attempt by Koivu!

Why is that? Did he clear it up center ice? Please learn a bit about hockey before posting stupid statements. He cleared it along the boards where clearing attempts are supposed to be. The player along the boards was interfered with thus causing the turn over and shot from the point.

I think it is quite obvious that BG is a worse coach then CJ. You can tell this because the Habs are not able to get any shots on net and the other teams are able to get a bunch. I don't think it was this bad with CJ.

Johnny-THANK you for saying that. I wanted to post that but I thought everyone would think I wa sbeing too self serving I see far less structure now in the team. The PP has dropped to 29th on the road since Gianey took over.  In fairness, maybe it will take BG awhile to get a system in place.

Kovalev 2nd goal of the night from a nice play by Koivu. Tied 2-2.

They'll change that one to Koivu, surely.  It went in off the Leaf defenseman, not off Kovalev.

Johnny- I am not going to eat my words. I WANT this guy to succeed. I said today that I was calling out that whole first line and for the first time in many games they showed up. We need that guy and Kovalev EVERY night, not every 8th game. Way to go guys.

Well, I had a few details wrong but I had the score right!  Good to see a "W" on the road, especially against the Laffs.

You were not one of the ones I was talking about Barry. You usually call it the way you see it, unbiased except when it comes to CJ of course.

Koivu just showed why he is Captain.  And as Demers said, sign and he will have a lot more weight behind his words and actions.  I have always preferred him as a 2nd line center, but if we can get a guy like Arnott this summer, then we should be just fine between the two of them.

Johnny- I called Saks out and Kovy out because as a habs fan, I know we desperately need them.. Even you will admit that Saks has not been himself lately. I give him credit for showing up when we really needed him. Keep it up smurfy.!!!!

I am happy with the win, who wouldn't be, but it never should of went to overtime, i think any goaltender in the NHL, heck, any goaltender in the CHL could of stopped that 3rd goal, no screen or anything, i was pretty pissed there, but hey, we got the win, now BG, go with Huet for Carolina, please....

Yes, IMHO it was a stupid clearing play!!!!!!!

He telegraphed that pass along the boards from the opposite side of the net the pass was going to when the Leafs were beating us to the puck on the boards in our own end all night.

I suggest you keep the personal attacks out of it, I've got plenty of hockey years (roughly 40) both playing and watching under my belt to know what I see.

I realize it's tough seeing a negative comment about you hero though, tough it up buddy.

I am having fun.

Actually And-o, I'm making a fool out of you. I have been listening to your bashing for a little too long. First it was Sak and CJ, then CJ got fired so you were just harping on Sak.

Seems you can't handle it when Saku wins one for the team. You don't have much to say I guess so you may as well bash JohnM.

Go Habs Go!

Really, wouldn't know. Wasn't trying to be tough, big guy. Just inviting you to Hab town. Maybe it is you who should go have a cold one.

Correct, they changed it. Koivu 2 goals and 1 assist on the night.
