The ref really had to dig deep to call the penalty on Bulis.  The Habs are handicapped enough as it is without the refs calling a non penalty.

5 shots on net   Kovy Sucks , Koivu has not shown up, Souray has not shown up  They deserve this loss. They cannot win with the team they have. They have what 32 games left and 17 are divisional teams. They will need to win all of those 17 games just to make the playoffs, never mind the non divisional games.

If the Habs had scored on every shot, the game would still be close...............

Yeah, Habs just don't have anything close to what is chemistry.

On a side note, the Leafs are flying tonight!  They were down 4-1 to Buffalo but have come back to be just a goal down 4-5 heading into the third.  The Leafs dominated the Sabres in the final half of the second (where I started watching) it.  The Leafs heart makes the Habs performance tonight (ok, I'm listening to it) look pitiful.

At this point, there is obviously something wrong with Koivu/Kovalev/Zednik's mindset.  I don't get it, they seem to be going through the motions, very sad to see a Habs team with NO heart.

The most pathetic of a whole liteny of pathetic performances this year. 5 shots on goal in 2 periods?!?!???? top line?!?? WHat top line?? I see no heart or desire on this team at all night after night and I am at the point I just cant stand to watch. Our so called "elite players" have just ran away and disappeared. No chemistry..no effort.

The ultimate slap in the face is they keep showing Hasek trying to stretch and keep warm down at the other end. The habs did not even have ONE offensive zone faceoff in the 2nd period. PATHETIC

What worries me is Theo will probably get the start in Toronto, that will surely be a TO win then.

You KNOW the Leafs will be pumped on Saturday, they Habs are just 1 point behind them . . . oh how I want a solid effort and 2 pts against the Laffs.  Somehow, I just don't see it . . . I have a feeling Mtl is toast for this year and MAJOR rebuilding has to be done.

I'm predicting a "W" against the Leafs.  Just a premonition.

I say Theo should sit. If he starts he will be pummeled and the little confidence he has will be diminished again. I say Start Huet then again I dont know anymore. In all my years as a Habs fan, I have never been so disgusted. Just when the Bruins are now 7 0 2 their last 9 games. They are moving up fast while we are falling

I guess 40-11 shots on goal says it all.  I too have had enough.  Huet was the only one putting any effort into this game.  Same old heartless play, taking too many penalties, etc.  Gainey has his work cut out for him.

Sounds like a great recap. If only we'd stayed ut of the box, it would only have been 1-0 and 37 shots to 11
