Finally a goalie doing his job if we only had some of that performance in recent games ....and thumbs up for Bulis couldnt ask for a better performance from a guy that wasnt going to play until gainey woke up and relized he wasnt the problem. Its kind of funny the guy plays 8 min.. of hockey scores 4 goals on 4 shots ..again good for you Bulis. hope the habs build on this..and come out strong against the senators...GO HABS GO.

I think it was a numbers game tonight until Souray went down. BG wanted to play the big guys and had to sit someone out. Things happen for a reason I guess.

Was BG really going to sit Bulis, or was it just a bad runour? Bulis has been the best Habs forward in January; why sit him? There are plenty of others I would have sat first.
Anybody know the validity of this rumour?

I would sit Sundstrom on a good day, this guy drives me nuts.....i don't understand if there is any forward out there to be sat, it should be this guy.....BG shouldn't have to think twice on that, ok, i have to sit somebody tonight, do i sit Bulis, who is our best player as of lately or maybe this month....he can play the pp and the pk, great skater.....or can i sit Sundstrom, who can't score, can't play the pp, can't skate.....yada, yada, yada......seems a little off to me.

For what it is worth to you guys,. when CJ told me abot guys he really liked and he felt "brought it" every night, Bulis was always the top of the list. I agree. This guy comes to play EVERY night but until last night, he has had bad luck and hands of stone. Personally I would take a couple more Jan Bullis'

Nil, I've thought this out and really think Gainey had a potential trade on the table! Cote played in Souray's place so his injury had nothing to do with it! To give Gainey the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was going with Ivanans and then just changed his mind but then why would he choose Bulis to sit out? Like you mention, Bulis is our most productive player this month!
