I'll say one thing.  With posts like this one, and the artful doings of Brooklynhabfan, this Gohabber has never seen so many clever and well done pictures and mock-ups.  It is all awesome work.  Us old guys - well, at least this old guy - wishes he were savvy enough to come up with a few of his own.

Keep up the good work boys.

I was trying to paste a Jack Daniels bottle to the top of the net, but just couldnt quite make it look right.  Maybe after he gets the hook in the 2nd tonight.

Huet's between the pipes tonight.  Theo's at the bar.

Seriously though, this is one girl that never thought she'd say this - I'm happy to see him sit for a few.  Hopefully he'll get some sleep.

In stead of having a few?

Habgirl, you need to get yourself an avatar.

Nice work, rw!  Good to see someone taking over now that our resident lampoonist is off for a week.

Go into your profile, click on "Edit profile" and choose an avatar from the "library".

If you want to choose your own personal avatar, find a picture you like, right-click on it, hit "Properties" to find the URL address.  Copy and paste this address into the avatar section of your profile (in lieu of using the library).

Clear as mud?

Hey Nil;

I have a pic I'd like to use from the Vancouver/Montreal game...it's on my hard drive.  However, it doesn't seem to work.

Is there a specific format I need to save it in in order to turn it into an avatar?

You better ask someone a bit more technologically savvy than I am, I'm afraid.  Try right-clicking and saving it under various formats (whatever you have on your hard drive).  Then for each try, go to "Properties" and "copy" the URL address, and "paste" it on your "edit profile" page.

Good luck!

Hey habgirl, maybe I can help you out.

What you need to do is first make sure your picture is saved in jpg or gif format (preferably jpg). Then go to a place like Photobucket and set up a free account. then store your picture there. You would then copy the link to your picture in your photobucket account to your avatar section in your profile.

That be me - just before heading to GM Place for the big debacle that was the game.  I think Normie's going to post one of the two of us....also still smiling as it was pre-game.

Habgirl, do you know how to get your picture not to flatten you? There's a way of doing that when you add your avatar. I used to have a flat Rick Chartraw for mine too...

hey habgirl, where you said up your avatar on gohabs, there's a place where you put in the height and width of your pic, the max is 100x100. Yours looks a little stretched in width so you should just play around with the width number until you get it perfect. try going with around 85 for the width.

Hi Nil!

I believe it's just a ripple in my pants - but they do have the number 60 and the Habs logo embroidered on them (and Theodore on the butt!)...not sure if that's what you're seeing?

Yes, I meant that little curly thing just below your knee.  Do you have a picture of the "Theodore" embroidery?
