I think that the bottom line for everyone here is that we need to trust Gainey. We have no choice. We all agree that the coaching change needed to be made and now that Gainey has infultrated the dressing room he will make the changes he sees fit. As far as any inside information I have I will keep it to myself but there is really nothing that would make the front page of the Gazette. Nothing earth shattering. All I will tell you is that CJ made Bob aware of many of the problems in the room long ago and Julien was doing everything he could to fix them, but ran out of real estate.
If we are going to trust in Gainey we need to support whatever moves he makes. If he decides to trade our captain or our goalie or demote half the team, he is in a MUCH better position that anyone on this board to make that call. All we see is what is shown on tv and in the press. There is SOOO much more going on that we are unaware of. Bob Gainey is a no nonsense kind of guy. We do not know what is going on in contract negotiations with Saks and never will. I for one am at the point with this team that no one is untouchable, including the scouts, ushers, players, coaches (ok..leave the beer vendors alone ok?). The bottom line is that a major, major shakeup is needed and the sooner every guy on that team realizes that his job is not secure, the better. GO HABS GO!

If they arn't earning a cool mil in Montreal, they will earn it somewhere else. Most guys could give a SH$#. That is why you build a TEAM with guys who have pride...and forget the talent. Look at Buffalo as an example of TEAM. Pride IMO: Koivu, Ryder, Rivet, Higgins...that's all really.
