He did'nt even have a good warmup!!!!!!!!!!!! A comment from a Canuck behind me...."geeeez, I'm still singin OH CANADA and it's 2-0". After the 5th goal he bought me a beer. I glared across the ice at BG and said for the 3rd time how bout now Bob? Is now a good time to chang'em up??? The "D" played like crap, Ryder looked like he was at public skating. Carbo had to have lost his voice cause I saw him tee off on Souray, Rivet, Dandenault, Sundstrum, and others all night long...........nufsed about that.
I met Habgirl and she is a sweetheart!!!!! 5' nuthin.....blonde.....gorgeous.....wearing an autographed Lafleur jersey. What more could a guy want??? Oh, and a head's up to Barry, she's got a boy friend, sorry buddy. So that was the hilite of my evening. Also heard from a Habfan sitting in front of me that the Habs won't be back in Vancouver for 2 years which is crap as far as I'm concerned.
One last thing on my way out.......did they mention on the tube that the nucks set a new franchise record for fastest 6 goals???????...........cheers boys and girl....normie

I was feelin' for ya normie... at least you had some good company and a strong reason to bond... sort of like the part of Titanic on the front of the boat...
I saw about 6 distinguished lookin' fellows in the crowd sporting Hab jerseys - I presume you were one of them. I was thinking about how sick it was making me and I was 5 steps from a washroom and two floors from a bed and you paying big bucks and fighting the crowds. Despite commentator comments about being interested in seeing which Habs quit (and naming Ribeiro) I thought Ribs was one of them that kept it coming. I thought Souray looked like he was playing hard, Dandenault was loafing and Komisarek is just not developing. Bulis kept the hustle going as did Kositisyn (sp????). Saks as always hustles, Streit looked fine, Rivet less strong than usual. BG needs to make a low cost move - nothing major - another guy up from Hamilton - a low cost trade - a pick-up from the waiver wire. These boys need a tap on the shoulder THEN a boot to the....
Anyway I bet at the 10 minute mark 2 years seemed too soon for a retun visit.

OK; I'll plead dumb. The guy in your photo, Brook, looks just like the guy in normie's avatar. If not normie, who is that?!

Sounded like my wife.............. until the mention of that Lafleur jersey! Mrs. d would rather watch paint dry than a hockey game - although we did see two Habs games over the years (one a 4-3 playoff victory in '93 in the old Forum; the other a 7-1 victory against Gretzky's Rangers).
Habgirl............... the perfect woman, and she's a continent away (lucky for Mrs. d!).

Thanks for the compliments Normie (5'4"!)...sorry we missed you for post game Kokanee to drown our sorrows following that tragedy.
Note here a complete absence of any defense of Theo. The highlight of the night was the pregame skate and also the standing ovation for Henri Richard. Later I was shouting for the pocket rocket, Gainey and Carbo to lace 'em up.
I have been Theo's biggest defender (besides Johab) to this point. I can't defend him any more. Ribs skating around with his mohawk hair, Souray looking absolutely disinterested, Koivu standing at the circle shakin' his head, Theo being not the goaltender that he is capable of being, etc, etc. And that's just the warmup. The only player that looked half-interested was sexy-Alexi. However, once the puck dropped, that went for a flying ####.
My highlight was Grandville Island (for anyone visiting Vancouver - HIGHLY recommended). It was wonderful to meet Normie and see our boys, but unfortunately they let us down bigtime. I guess that's what being a Habs fan is all about...we'll come around. At least we don't have the embarrasment of having Dummy in a CH jersey.
For the record, Theo is NOT my boyfriend any more.
We managed to get some really good pics of warmup, and a couple of Normie and I. Mario, any input? Ok to do so?

Thanks! So it's the real normie, pasted on a photo from the movie Titanic?

I say paste them on! Maybe I set a precedent on Saturday with my family photo (perhaps I should have asked first), but I'd love to see what we all look like - anyone who wants to, that is. Also your warm up pics would be nice - it went downhill from there!

barry33 is depressed. barry33 was ready to move out to BC to work in the apple orchards as a picker (barry33 is a picker from way back), just to be with habgirl. barry33 feels however, that whatever sad excuse for a man that habgirl is dating would soon be dropped faster than Paul Martin's popularity when barry33 moves west

Nil d feels for barry. Barry needs a little lovin'. But barry should confuse picking apples with picking one's proboscis.

Hey! I take great offense to those remarks! I received a new bathrobe for Christmas, and it is still very clean!
