Hey come on Caper! It was one bad period! Yes, they will lose this game, but one bad game does not a whole season ruin.

So if we make the playoffs we'll end up probably 7th, or 8th seed, so we'll play Ottawa or Carolina, Philly, some team that will probably take us 4 straight the way this team plays together, i'm not saying i don't want to see changes to this club because i do, thats what we need, however, with this lineup, nothing will happen, so what, we'll get 4 more games then Pittsburg or Washington.....big deal.

Boston was a #1 seed and a #2 seed the last 2 times we made the play-offs and look what happened there...

Ideally, we want to make the play-offs OR tank the season entirely to get a high draft pick.

Even if it's only one great upset game played beyond our abilities, I'll take it! There's nothing like the playoffs, and nothing like the empty feeling of coming in 9th.

Hey, you're only going to get to see x number of habs playoffs games before you shuffle off to the big rink in the sky, so don't wish them away!

I'm really not trying to sound bad guys, and if i do, sorry....but this year seems alot different then the years we upset Boston, and well...Calgary, you can't compare there team to us...i mean, they were getting stellar goaltending, we have had that a game here, and there...that has to be consistant to do anything. Calgary has great chemistry, speed, checking, and puck movement, not to mention there A+ goaltending and Defence, i wish we had this guys, but face it we don't. But what i am trying to say is if BG steps up and gets what we need, and our boys start playing like its not pre-season, then i'll change my mind....sorry to sound negative, but the game last night showed alot.

In fairness, there is not too much to be positive about right now. Extremely tough 4 raod games coming up, the team just gave one of it's worst performances of the season and something just seems amiss.

The only positive thing is fans who give a sh*t and will suppport them no matter what. Even if they get frustrated once in a while...or require Pepto and Tums on a regular basis.
