In my opinion, no body can beat Roger Doucette. I wish they would get someone to sing to an organ again. His rendition always was worth a goal ot two. He rocked

Maybe everyone else is stocking up on beer and hot dogs during the anthem! It's a wonder I've even ever seen one...

What about that guy at Oiler's games who kind of butchers the anthem?

I thyink that guy who does the anthems at the Bell Centre nowadays is pretty damn good. Being a singer myself I know how hard The Star Spangled Banner is to sing and that guy does it seemingly effortlessly. That cheesy French accent of hir makes it even better. No disrespect intended.

Sorry to dissapoint you Habjo,  I hate Rencourt My favorite all time is Roger Doucette. Its a shame all these people now singing the anthems do not have an organ playing. They all sing without music. I love the anthem but you need the music to get the players pumped. Do you not remenber the Doucette rendition with the organ playing in the famed Forum??  boy that was worth a goal or two each game.

Hey, you're not the guy from a-ha are you? Easily the hardest anthem to sing on earth, according to all who have dared!

BTW, how did Liverpool fare on the weekend?

His name's Morten. Not a bad singer, but I'm more envious of his wallet than his talent. Liverpool? We sent 'em back to scouserland with their tails between their legs. One of the most glorious sights in the world of sports. Kind of like the Leafs losing seven nothing. Seriously though, United won 1-0 after scoring in the 90th minute. Not the best game ever played, but a win's a win!
