Streit has played well lately. Plus, he's supposedly a good leader. I don't see what the fuss is about.

I think Streit is a solid little defenseman. He will never be a number 1 or 2 guy, but you need 6 right, he is fine as a #5 or 6 D-man, he is pretty good in his own end, and one day the pucks will start going in for him. Would hate to lose him from our powerplay.

...I agree that Nedved is no solution to any teams woes, but at least Clarke is not afraid to make a move!

There must be a reason or extra baggage that Nedved has for him to be going to his 7th NHL team (he has a great wrist shot & above average skills) - He still has an outside chance to catch Michel Petit or JJ Daigneaut for the players who've played on the most NHL teams as I don't think he's going to last too long on Mr. Clarke's team with his contract as well as when his injured players come back - there's going to be too many players/no cap room on the roster......
