Watching the Wild/Leasf game last night and seeing Lemaire, it occured to me that Montreal may own the league record for bald coaches in it's history. The ones that come to mind are:



  1. Julien
  2. Gainey
  3. Bowman
  4. Lemaire
  5. Burns (was doing the combover)
  6. Claude Ruel (only coached 26 games so could not find a pic lol)
  7. Toe Blake (from wearing the hat)

Oh ya and Bob Berry..BAD BAD Combover Bobby. Like I told CJ, let it go buddy..it is soooo over.

Using the convenient chart below of the last 10 coaches to win a cup (scotty x3), I have determined that while a bald coach is not neccessarily the right guy, one with a receding hairline is.

I'm just realizing that I've accidentally substituted a picture of Captain Kangaroo where Ken Hitchcock is meant to be. My apologies...

Maybe it is the air in Montreal? At any rate, Hair Club for men could set up a branch office at the Bell Center.
