CJ to Address Media Today
Permalink Closed

Claude has a press conference scheduled for 5 pm today the the Bell Center to address the media. He has purposely waited a few days because he wanted to let the emotions die down. and he did not want to distract the team on a game day. The fact that he chose today and 5 pm when the team is on the road was done on purpose. Even after being unceremoniously dumped he still puts the team as number one. For those of you looking for him to call down the organization or Gainey, you will be disappointed. I expect him to thank the players (for what I have NO idea), the organization and the fans for their support. In other words, he will carry himself with class and dignity as he always has. He will probably even thank Bob Gainey which is more than he did. Part of me wishes that he would go out there and tell it like it is. Kovalev plays when he feels like it (then has the gall to go to the media and call down Julien after he gets canned). Theo was so bad that he tried to commit suicide by jumping in front of a train but it went between his legs, Ribiero was not existent and took 55 second shifts while being told to shorten them (funny how he now listens to his boss). But he will not. H ewill go out with class and dignity. I know today will be hard for Claude. Hold your head high buddy. You have absoluetly nothing to hang it about. Wish I could day the same about others.

I would never expect any mud-slinging from Claude Julien.  He is class and high-road personified.  This will serve him well in his job search.  New Jersey, eh?
