1: its been a long time since i actually posted anything (works been busy)
2: the habs schedual for the rest of the month is absolutly brutal carolina twice, calgary, vancouver, ottawa, toronto i think thats it...
but wow thats gonna be extremly hard heres hoping that the habs can come out with at leat 3 or 4 wins in that stretch. but after that.. we 2 straight games against the bruins should be alright what does everyone else think of the up coming games? who can we beat? personally we should be able to take out toronto, ottawa and calgary but i don't know bout the others

Rest-o? Any relation to And-o or Carb-o?
Seriously, this road trip will be a huge test for the Habs. I'd be happy with 6 points coming home. I think we can beat any team on any given night, but it depends on which version of the team shows up (as well as injuries, which seems to be cropping up again).

This is a hard road trip and maybe to early to say but I think this is a do or die stretch.. if we can win the games against carolina, filly, new jersey, toronto, ottawa. that there will put us in a good spot to make a run for a playoff spot. But hell we all know that were HAB FANS.

This is a crucial time and that is why Gainey made the coaching change when he did. It was either that or make a trade and for whatever reason, hs could not pull the trade trigger. But this trip is crucial and will make or break the season IMHO

And, who knows, he could hire ex-North Star Steve Payne, both get fired, then it would be the No Payne - No Gainey era (raise egg-deflecting shield......Now!)
Stop with the bad puns or I'll have to delete the thread. Your one-liners are like seeing Dags-Ribs-Ryder all over again.
This will be a tough stretch and the Julien thing was good timing, IMO. There is no reason why we shouldn't end above .500 for this trip. I'm most worried about Vancouve and Carolina. And Filly. Speaking of one-liners, OTT and Toronto could be handled. So, I think we'll fare well because a)we've got what it takes 2)the coaching change effect will last a little longer at lease and d)it's the year of the Habs.

Hey, with champs like us, baby I was born to pun!
Agreed on your road assessment. I think the new breeze will blow just enough to get us through, and hopefully instill some much needed confidence.
But if we don't fare well, it'll be farewell to at least one or two guys (no pun intended)
