Only 'Teflon Bob' would be able to get away with simply providing the media with "his take" of recent events.


Would/could he be this bland and merely sit there stone faced stating the obvious???

Don't have any more info for ya', but got this interesting tidbit from Spector's... I wonder if Bonk straight up would be good for both sides.

David Vest reports forward Petr Nedved's days as a Phoenix Coyote may be numbered. Nedved, whose salary for this season is $2.2 million, has failed to play up to expectations, due in part to injuries that sidelined him for 19 games. Vest noted Nedved was a healthy scratch on Thursday night claiming head coach Wayne Gretzky's patience has run out and suggested the Coyotes might trade Nedved to an Eastern Conference team for some defensive help.


Spector's Note: Given his struggles this season and his salary, moving Nedved may not be so easy.

Doesn't Bonk make the same $$$ as Nedved?   Bonk certainly isn't an offensive guy (nor much of a defensive guy lately) so maybe this one would be mutually beneficial to both sides?  I would make that trade if Gretz was foolish enough to make it.

I dont see anything about a press conference anywhere (TSN.ca, RDS.ca, NHL.com...) Where/when is it?

i've been looking for this press conference too  and i se absolutly nothing about it   does anyone have any idea when it is   or if its even happening?
