You raise an interesting point, Puckster. Lately, the players (including Rivet last night when he was interviewed on TSN) have been talking about sticking to their "system". If it's this "system" that's got them all skating so slowly and making all these lousy passes and collapsing defensively so that even weak teams like the Pens can get 35+ shots per game and dozens of good scoring chances, then I say scrap the system and just let the boys skate like they were playing shinny on the Canal des Frozen Dreams.
There's more talent on this team than is being shown right now. As my old college golf coach used to say: "A mind is a terrible thing to use..." Maybe the boys are just thinking too much and have forgotten how to play any other way.
