I agree....Theo will be in and look for lots of rebounds and a goalie floppin around. Bob Gainey makes MANY of the day to day personel decisions of who is playing, who is sitting, etc. His nose is in it more than anyone knows. Gainey might as well be called Leonardo because the ship he is on is sinkin'!
The sadest part of all this is Theo will probably get the start the next game because of his over-inflated contract! Thanks again BG!
You can count on Theo staring Saturday if he is still a hab. Julien has no choice (see my post last night). You cant trade a player that every team sees that you have no confidence in and you can't get his confidence back up if you inetend on keeping him, by benching him. The proverbial catch-22

I disagree, I think you will see Huet again Saturday. It might put the fear of god in Theo. Julien would be nuts to go back to him when Huet is on fire. Julien did the same thing with Garon, he got 5 staight starts & Theo picked his play up. Lets hope this shake up does it for him too.
No one can make a trade until the end of the Olympics!!!!!
So why not go with Huet right now? The guy is on fire and maybe they find that they want him over Theo in the end? They've got Price in their back pocket, although he is utterly unproven (and didn't make the WJC team).
As mentioned, it may be poor form to bench the guy you ultimately want to trade...or even worse, create a rift like they did with P. Roy and then get absolutely nothing for him.
I still say go with who is hot.

The Montreal Canadiens will go with Cristobal Huet in net for the third straight game on Saturday when the team hosts Joe Thornton and the San Jose Sharks.
Huet stood on his head for the Habs on Wednesday, making 40 saves - 18 of them in the first period - in a 2-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. He was also solid with a 40 save performance in a 4-1 win over Ottawa last Saturday.
The decision to start Huet keeps goaltender Jose Theodore on the bench, as the 2002 Hart and Vezina Trophy winner has not played since a 5-4 loss to the New Jersey Devils on Jan. 5.
Canadiens coach Claude Julien continues to experiment with his lines to try and get his team out of a prolonged slump, putting young winger Michael Ryder with forwards Saku Koivu and Alex Kovalev and sending centre Mike Ribeiro to the fourth line.
Huet deserves to start, he's played great the last two games.

Good call CJ! Also good luck with the line changes! CJ must have great circus juggling skills with all the line changes he's tryed already!
