Dallas has aquired defenceman Janni Niinima from the Islanders for Erskin and a swap pf draft piks. I would have loved to see Janni a Habby.

Pure salary dump for the Isles. Niinima has been playing terrible this season, he earns about $2.5 million, has 1G, 9A and is -7. That's not acceptable for an offensive D-man. This is how it is in the new nhl, if you're not performing and making a lot of money, the team will find it hard to keep you. On that matter, Theo better pick up his game.

We are better whitout Niinimaa because that dude sucks. If you say that Ribs is bad for team spirit, so you don’t know nothing about the bad team spirit. Niinimaa left natonal team in last world cup tournament because coach Summanen was too loud and mean. And he was already drifted to troubles with Isles coach because he was whining all the time. Also he has **** loads stupid hooking and holding penalties we don’t need those anymore we have now.

I say that isles won, they got hard playing defensive d-man to replace Cairns and 2nd round draft choice.
