Could it be that Gainey is finally going to move a player or two? Ribs would be at the top of my list to be traded, but that's too likely, and Gainey's trades are always the most unlikely thing that could ever happen.

I was reading some of the comments that people made on the RDS site to this and a comment there kind of hit me.

Dagenais a été placé au ballotage et n'a pas été réclamé. Est-ce qu'il y en a encore parmis vous qui oseront prétendre que c'est un bon joueur qui a sa place dans la LNH? Ce n'est certainement pas à cause de son salaire qu'il a fait fuir les autres DG...

Une seule solution pour Pierre: apprendre à patiner et arrêter d'avoir la chienne dans les coins et devant le net. C'est dommage, car ce gars-là a probablement un des 20 meilleurs lancer de la ligue. Chez les glorieux, seul Kovalev se compare avantageusement à lui. Le problème, c'est qu'à part un bon lancer, il fout absolument rien. Il est lent et il a peur de son ombre. Il parait aussi que ce n'est pas le gars le plus apprécié dans le vestiaire.

Alors c'est une bonne nouvelle. Ça va faire plus de place pour laisser jouer les jeunes!

OK......I don't know about the coke rumour but this rumour is not a rumour it's fact.  Theo was BADLY hungover recently and went out for morning practice and fell on his ass when he hit the ice because he forgot his skate guards on.  It is well known throughout the league that Ribs and Theo playboy around nightly......it certainly is affecting their play....you think!?!  Don't be surprised to see these jokers out quick!

One of the biggest complaints I have heard on this board and from fans in general is that Montreal has a habit of giving up on players too early. I can safely say that they gave Dagenais MORE than enough chances.

If you had seen some of CJ's girlfriends a few years back you would not laugh at the "dog trainer" referance. The man has experience trust me on that one

Who cares who doies what on their own time? Of course, I'm a Cowboys fan, but seriously. I'm betting that there are very few on this board who don't drink regularly, and even fewer who haven't tried the odd toke or snort.

 

And seriously, to think it's a rare occurecne amongst NHL players is naive. These guys PARTY. If the problem becomes Fleury-esque, and affects on-ice production, then its time to take a look at it, but if a guy is out with a buddy having a good time, and there is no game the next day, it's nobody's business, and no big deal..My boss has no right to know what I do away from the office, so long as I show up when I say I will and produce.
