I  know this is off topic, but with the habs off for three days and the NFL playoffs happening I was wondering what was eveyones favourite team and the team they would like to see win the Super Bowl (if your team isn't in the Playoffs) and why?
Besides the only other thing i could think of too talk about is how the Rangers got Sykora at such a cheap price, 4th rounder and 7 or 8th d-man!

So here I go I'm a St.Louis Rams fan and would like to see the Steelers win as I'm a season ticket holder for the University of Pitt football team and frequent the city quite abit.  Might add it is a very beautiful city, which really shocked me.  I figured steel city =  filthy!

Growing up across the creek from Detroit, I am a Lions fan.  Since that ain't gonna happen (at least not in my lifetime), I'd like to see the 'Pats do it again.  Brady is an UM alum and I am a fans of the Maize and Blue as well.  I've always had a certain hatred for Peyton Manning (I have absolutely no concrete reasons as to why, he just makes me ill to see him), so if not the Pats, anyone but Indy.

I'm a Steelers fan too, although not a big football fan in general.

I was on Pittsburg once, in 1991 or so.  I was quite surprised at how clean it was, expecially in the downtown/Three Rivers area.

Patriots, but that shouldn't surprise anyone who has read any of my posts over the past few years.  I'm a season ticket holder at Gillette, and I have yet to see my boys lose a home playoff game.

And for Nil and Ray, I have yet to see the Pats lose a road playoff game.  Went to the AFC Championship game back in January 2002.  The Steelers were huge favorites, and everyone in town was wearing Mardi Gras beads (the Super Bowl was in New Orleans back in Feb 2002).

Pittsburgh was actually a very nice city.  We saw the Penguins play Atlanta (I believe, my memory suffers from some beer induced lapses) on Saturday, then the Pats/Steelers game on Sunday.

Deacon Jones was on a great episode of the Odd Couple ("Craving Sheam" commercial), maybe the funniest show of all time!

Being that I hate all Boston Teams   Pats, Bruins, Celtics and Sox   I hope the Pats get smashed Saturday. If I see Brady on tv once more saying his team gets no respect  I will jump out a window.

Well David, you may want to alert the neighbors to your impending Hudsucker Proxy, because I can almost guarantee you that the "no respect" theme will contiune into this week, and hopefully the next week, and hopefully beyond.  It's what there guys do.  I don't like it either, but what the hell?

Normie, i became a Rams fan back when Vince Ferragamo was the QB, he also played with the Alouettes for awhile.  Was a huge Jim Everett fan also, still have a poster of him in my games room!
