Agreed , he's been off his game for a while now. Plus, today he Ribs as a linemate!

His skating is not what it was the first 20 games of the season ... he was a magician some nights and strong almost every night.

Hopefully he gets back on track ASAP.

He doesn't care thats why, he's disintrested. He has the ability to score a goal or more every game yet half the time he doesn't show up. This has always been the crack against him and it won't change. For example Kovy can get physical as he showed today and other games but he only does when he is out to get someone. Could you imagine if he forechecked and backchecked with that intesity?

Good point! If he shows up for the playoffs and is a huge factor, it makes up for his regular season apathetic play! If we make the playoffs of course!

82 games is a long stretch to be on your game (that's what makes the great ones like Orr, Gretzky, Lemieux so great ... they rarely have an off night off)

That said, a player like Kovy shouldn't have more than 2-3 poor nights in a row. The team captain and the coach need to find a way to bring him around.
