Try a Little LaTendresse?
Permalink Closed

Watching the Gold medal junior game (4-0 for the good guys so far), and I note that Guillaume LaTendresse is listed as a forward, but I have yet to see him on the ice.  Why is he not playing?  I thought he was out of the doghouse, but maybe not.

Canada is looking good, and got a freebie when a Russian goal was not called - the puck was clearly in the net.

According to Sutter, He plays too soft. WOW what a suprise, a guy playing in the "Q" soft?? NO really...

He's too busy worrying about his moonlighting modelling career.

Nice to see Chipchura put up a goal.

Hopefully he will continue to mature and bring some leadership to the habs in a few years

I hope that was a bad joke!   We surely don't need another pretty boy.

Great pun in the topic line, BTW

Maybe an all-pretty team would confuse the opposition

I wonder how Kovy looks in a wig and some makeup?

Something tells me that we will soon know as I'm sure you are working on a pic for us now.

Great reference. I saw Three Dog Night at a private party at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Vegas last May. Whatta night!

You're right, The Four Seasons ca. 1973, Try a Little Tenderness was originally done by Otis Redding...

I had no idea he wrote that one.  Dock of the Bay is one of my favourites.

Don't mean to be a total troll, but Bing Crosby first did that chestnut in 1933 and it was written by Harry Woods, Jimmy Campbell & Reg Connelly (it took more guys back then to write a song)

Dammit, you're right. While I knew that Otis Redding didn't actually write it I had no idea that bing had the original back in the 30's. Goes to show-you learn something every day!

That's OK;  it takes seven Habs to score a goal these days............

He's the odd man out and unfortunately Sutter didn't want to screw with a winning combination. Lats just had a bad tourney. I guess he will have something to prove.
