I'm turning into what I despise - Crosby kicks one that's a goal, Markov gets his face chopped off one second before another Pens goal - and I'm screamin' about the reffing like I'm Pat Quinn!!!


I know it's the new NHL fellas and the notion of frontier justice is as outdated as leather helmets but the refs have never looked out for the small teams never have, never will. The League will never evolve enough that there is no place for a miserable s.o.b. in the line-up... and I wish the Habs had at least one guy who was hell-bent and determined to address every wrong done to the Habs - you can't hit a ref but you sure as hell can swat the opposing player closest to you when the ref ticks you off.


P.S. for those old posters, you can imagine how I took Therrien's win!!

Therrien's wise game-plan and smart use of a time-out resulted in two more points for a very amateurish Pittsburgh team.


Just wait until Ottawa slaps this heartless bunch around Saturday afternoon in front of a national audience!
