And-o is still doing a "slow burn" over this one!

Four rookie centres...and we lose!

...Gainey himself may be in danger of losing his job this morning!

I have NOTHING nice to say about anyone outside of Bulis and Higgins after last night!

Actually I felt it was a good team effort where we deserved to win. Outshot Pens 17-6 in the first period. Theo had a rough first period (to be polite). And our first line had 2 shots. Julien matched up our line with theirs which was the right thing to do. But they did not hold up their end. Crosby gets 2 and our top line records 2 shots. However the other 3 lines finally chipped in with 4 goals. We did not get the saves last night and that is pretty much it.

And did you notice all six Penguin goals were scored by rookies?  A team loaded with veterans, and the kids are leading the charge.  I would trade the entire Hab team for Crosby (diver or not, barry).

I don't think he had a rough period at all.  A rough period implies that he misjudged shots, or had a bad bounce or two.  I couldn't believe how disinterested he looked.  I don't know where he was in the first, but it wasn't in the game.

Sorry, Barry.  The right thing would have been to adjust the game plan when it obviously wasn't working.

And-o, the positives I see from the score sheet is all of our rookies getting points.  Looks like we had as many rooks as PIT but that our def hasn't gotten the flu shot.
