Team on the downturn, posters on the downturn

Funny that as the team slips in the standings, we are losing posters as well. Maybe it's like this in the dressing room. Some of the players are trying to say this needs to be fixed and that needs to be fixed. The coach is saying do this and do that and some players are basically saying screw this. We'll wait till the team wins again and then we'll try and contribute something.

Let's not take things too personally on this board. Remember hockey is just a game. There are alot more serious things out there. Let's have fun and keep posting. We all know we will have posters like me defending Saks, Johab defending Theo and Barry defending CJ. I guess the problem is when we have to defend them so much it just doesn't make sense why anymore.

GO HABS GO in 2006 cause this board is getting suicidal.

Well, I for one will watch this team through the good and the bad, and will continue to post. I only took a week off of posting because I was in Curaçao, and actually I was quite surprised to see what has happened over the last week. I was able to get the scores off ESPN, but I never realized the fanbase had become so negative about the team.

I'm confident Gainey WILL make a move, and it will be sooner rather than later. Until then, instead of harping on the players we have, why not try to look at the positives, and cheer for the team 100% even if they're losing? Nobody likes a loss, but there's no point in working ourselves up over something we have no control over.

John- I think you put it best. I just need a break from defending a guy who I do not think needs defending.  When I read things like he is a moron or an idiot I get tired of it. He is a good coach John, technically and otherwise and most people in the league know that. If certain players have tuned him out or no longer want to listen to him, then who has the problem? The same players who tuned the coach out will be the same players tuning the next coach out. If I felt that Julien was not capable I would have been the first calling for a new coach, regardless of my relationship with him. I am a habs fan, first and foremost. But for some guys on here to call the guy a moron and to say he does not know what he is doing is simply untrue and not based on fact. And that my friend, I do not have the energy to defend anymore.
