Need I say more? It's about effort, if players aren't willing to pay the price then they have no chance of winning. I'm really getting bored of the look at the lineup we have excuse. Whoever we have in the lineup needs to compete out there. If we lose that's fine but I think all of us want to see effort. We have enough of a lineup to beat Florida but obviously aren't prepared to give it 100% out there. Let's hope they come out in the 3rd and play with some intensity.-- Edited by JohnM at 21:24, 2005-12-30
I really did not see it as lack of effort. But that is why this board is interesting. What I see is a horrific lack of depth and getting beaten by one of the best goalies in the league, others here see it as lack of effort and not being able to beat "an overated goalie like Luongo". To me it is quite obvious that we severly lack goalscoring. Big time. Whether that will change when Koivu gets back in the lineup time will tell. Julien has tried every line combination in the book. We simply do not have a goal scorer. Kovalev is all we have. Ryder is hot and cold and is too young to be consitent.Zednick..well....trade bait. I say time to shake this team up big time. It lacks leadership. Why? Because our Captain has spent half the season on the trainers table and no one has stepped up to take his place. If you do not want to wear the CH and play like you mean it. trade them. At least the coaches are trying which is mor ethan I can say for half the team. Ganiey needs to say "ok boys, if you do not want to play in Montreal then fine. I will find someone who does. Enjoy Columbus".

He's never been beaten in a penalty shot. 9 out of 9 career, pretty impressive
