After saying that I like Streit, you will have be admitted to a padded room for this one. But I would like to keep Dagenais. I think he has alot of upisde and I have seen him slowly adjustung to the "New NHL". Unlike Ribiero, I feel Dags at least gives a real honest effort every night and he is becoming more defensively responsible. One thing the guy does have is a wicked shot (I would rate his shot as amongst the best in the league) and a nose for the net, along with good size. I like him on the PP and I feel as a 4th liner he can do something for the habs.

And-o would be in the padded room right next to Barry33 for this one!
...at least Dagenais shows frustration when things are going poorly, whereas Ribs appears to daydream about the puck that gets chipped so effortlessly past him!!!
Dags works on his game in the offseason, showing that he wants to improve. Ribs needs to go back to the gym as well as power skating school. He is giving some effort out there, I can see it, but there are almost zero results.

Well put Johnny. When I see Dags out there I see him dying from effort. He WANTS to be on the ice more. He WANTS to contribute. He feels it is a PRIVILEGE to play for the Habs. Ribiero on the other hand feels it is his God given right. That is the difference. I do see Julien trying to use him in a more uselful manner and I think it is helping. I for one like what Dagenais brings to the table night after night. I have not see that same desire from Perezhogan, Zednick or Ribiero.

This is the first year I am following the Habs every game and my take on their losses to teams like the Panthers is inconsistancy. As usual, Theodore was keeping the snipers at bay while the defensemen were staring stupidly at the action, or tipping the puck towards their net. When Huet was in nets, the defense was scrambling and taking the body (especially against the Sens). Why do they sit on their haunches with Jose?
What's with Kovalev? Star puck handler to zip PShot goal overnight. Then again, Luongo fills the whole net without moving.
I don't know, I think on the road they don't play with any such passion as at home..too bad.
