Do any of you detail-minded folks have any info or anything to say about the frequency of wide shots since the general adaptation of composite sticks and blades?

Just curious.

I don't know anything about wide shots, but I've noticed an increase in broken sticks.  And those composite puppies aren't cheap either!

I have watched loads of games, and I have noticed many  many broken sticks and wide shots. I thought the wide shots were just bad shooting   is there more to it???

David, I have suspected that the extra "spring" in a composite shaft would tend to exagerate any flaws in the shot itself.  I guess one would have to go back to the Wooden Era to see if the number of shots gone wide was comporable to today's numbers.

There is no doubt in my mind there are many more broken sticks as well as shots missing the net. It is just as bad as all these groin pulls.
