Right now it is almost impossible to suggest reasonable trades, as the NHL has been turned upside down and player values have shifted quite a bit.  So many things have to be considered; Salary cap, early free agency, who will be available for free next summer, who is streaky and who is for real (teams and players), and so much more. 

Also, with our current woes, we are trading from a disadvantage and the players others want are players we cannot afford to lose.  I would love to dump Ribiero, Dagenais, and Bonk, as well as send Streit down to Hamilton and have Bouillon become a 7th D, but it is doubtful that it would happen.  It might also sound like a great idea to trade one of our many prospects to a non-playoff team, but how do we absorb the salary and will it be worth it in the long run?
