CJ's lines were tragic...and it is just amazing how he keeps coming back to Riberio immediately after the kid is responsible for a defensive zone breakdown!
And-o HAS NOT CHECKED...but I'll bet anyone that he had an even strength shift last night that was over 1 minute and 30 seconds in length...THAT needs punishment!!!
This roadtrip could be a disaster if the Habs don't soon get healthy!
(Julien should forego gifts this year, cuz he might be unemployed in a few weeks)
To be fair, it was a 40 minute performance....it was still 1-0 game going into the 3rd...Washington just found the net in the 3rd....4 times...most in 1 period so far this season against the habs...hopefully the last time that happens too...

How is Buffalo winning? Who do they have for centers?
Connoly, Dury, Roy and Gaustad. Connolly is a threat everytime he is out there, Drury is one of the best 2 way centers in the league and Roy will get you 25 a season (and he is the 3rd line center) .Hmm lets compare to Koivu (seldom there in body), Ribieoro (seldom there in mind) and Begin. Geesh..can't understand whats wrong.

Here's some stats:
Avg Games/Year Points Per game
Koivu 60 .80 *** not including year with cancer
Ribs 65 .55
Bonk 69 .58
Begin 50 .20
Point production for centers per year average = 48+36+40+10=134
----
Connolly 80 .45
Drury 80 .70
Roy 50 .40
Gaustad 55 .35
Point production for centers per year avergage = 36+56+20+19=131
Therefore, the two teams at center are not very different in regards to point production over the year.
So is it BG who didn't plan properly or someone else who isn't getting what's needed out of his team? Why is Buffalo able to handle their leading scorers going down and actually doing better?
I really like CJ because he always had his team prepared but these days something is wrong. The players aren't ready to play when the game starts (see the last 3 games for details). It looks like the team is going back to the Therrien days. I am sure CJ can pull it together but it will require him getting tougher on the players. No more free days off because the guys need it. For those who play hard, fine get some rest. For the rest PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!!
