By the way, Ryder has now scored in five straight games!

I am like you..I really like Ryder on that line with Sunny and Begin. Sometimes things happen for a reason. Actually overall I need to give credit where credit is due. Claude has come up with some lines that work out of nothing. It i salso becoming clear to me why Perez does not play more in spite of the pleas of some people. ...dumb penalties.

This team needs more skill, give Perez a steady shift night in and night out the defensive play will improve, as well as the discipline.  In the long run we really do need the natural offensive skill he brings to the table.  IMHO it's a mistake the way he's been played.

Great game tonight!  The Habs came to play . . . and man, Kovalev is just one player, but he definitely gave a much needed lift to the Canadiens team.  Huet played a great game too . . . I won't rag on Theo, but I doubt he could've played better.

It is fine to say that but we need to be prepared for the mistakes that will be made to go with it. If fans are prepared for the growing pains then I say play him. He did get time on the Power Play tonite.

Can we keep Dagenais in the dresisngroom until the shootout? In all fairness, the best game that both Dagenais and Ribiero have played this year. I give them credit.

so anyone know of a good way to get rid of a horrible slump?   well   i have an idea....   why don't we just beat the best team in the NHL?   seems like a good idea to me.  CJ puts out Dags who is now 2-2   i have not seen the team play with this much heart in a long time    the panic sequence should now be off completly    now that we know we can still win with the best of em

What a great victory!  This was a pivotal game.  The Habs will go on to a very good season, and will look back at this victory - a victory they, on paper, had no chance of achieving - as a turning point in the season.

And who, might I point out, was one of the few guys around here not ready to hand the game to the Senators?  Moi!

Another 4-3 game, I might also point out.  Unreal...................

how's that lower cavity feeling with all those monkey flying out of it........lol

way to go habs!!!!!!!!!!! by far the most gutsy performance of the season and maybe even a few seasons....the whole team played great, with heart and determination and a little bit of kovy!!

what a difference kovalev made tonight....everytime he touched the puck i almost jumped out of my seat, he is sick!!  he inspires  everyone around him including the previously uninspireable(ribiero).  that line was creating non stop...ryder, suny, begin line looked great out there too. i realize kovalev didn't win the game himself but he probably could have come close.

dags played really well as did our d-fence for most of the night.....one exception being souray's no looker to spezza for the first goal. huet was pleasingly strong too, maybe he'll be giving theo something to think about while healing up....if he keeps playing like he did tonight then we would have to stick with him!

hopefully this will be a momentum builder, don't see how it couldn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

go habs go
