Well I need you guys to at least indulge a proud dad and let me post my son's stats this year to date. My son is 16 and in his second year of Midget AAA this year. He is not a Paul Coffey type defenceman and is not going to dazzle you with his skating and playmaking but as a 6'2 225 pound defenceman with a nasty side he gets the job done. More importantly than that he is a good kid and does well in school.

Nice, best of luck to him. I love Midget AAA games. Especially when I referee the team Latendresse played for, its literally down my street, and takes 2 minutes to get there, its always packed (I love refereeing infront of a packed arena) and when you hit AAA, its a taste of what players in the AHL, NHL, QJHL, WHL, and OHL go through.
Sounds like a great kid, my friend. Hope to see him play one day...
Thanks to all your well wishes. It is tough being a divorced Dad and having your "little boy" move away to play hockey, but I see him play as much as possible and he is staying with me for Xmas. I don't care if he makes the big leagues. But I stress getting an education first and foremost. Boy would it be great to see him in a Habs uni one day lol. I would say "take me God I have lived my life now". (By the way CJ has seen him play a few times and thinks he has potential)
