CJ ALL talk!!!

Yeah Claude...that showed Ribs and Dags who's boss...in fact, they may NEVER get over that type of punishment!!!  Ribs gets more ice than Saku last night...while Dags pulls down almost three times as much ice as the likes of Perezhogin!

What is all this teaching guys like Higgins, Murray, Perezhogin, Pleks, Komisarek & Kostitsyn???

...maybe CJ will be home watching the WJHC on Boxing Day (if we're lucky) just like the rest of us!

This guy has slipped below the water-line and is heading for BRUTAL!

...hey I know...maybe CJ should triple shift Ribs and Dags versus Ottawa!  That will REALLY get the point across to both of them!  They won't mess with "the BIG boss" after that!!!

C'mon guys!!!

I am starting to agree with the assessment that CJ may be out of his element... Playing the Gruesome Twosome at the expense of the rookies will destroy the enthusiastic play of the youth squad on the Habs.

However, we may need to entertain the possibility that Ribs and Dags are being showcased for a trade... Unlikely as it may seem...

Perhaps BG is trying to showcase some guys...but CJ's blunderings go far beyond personnel decisions in my view!

Did you get a load of the "powerplay" last night???  These guys just look lost at times!

Why doesn't CJ try SOMETHING different on the PP in order to stretch a lead???  Perhaps ice 4 forwards on the PP...with a guy like Murray or Higgins or Ryder crashing the net for rebounds???

...the Habs are a GREAT skating team...yet all of this talent somehow gets lost in a game!!!

I'm still behind CJ. You can't possibly judge him based on the broken rags he has to work with now. Look at his record with a healthy team, and he still comes up winning.

As far as Dags time. Who knows, a little desperate tinkering, maybe, but I can't imagine he's being showcased for anything but chief barcolounger tester.

And-O I am going to respect your opinion and the right to express it by not responding any further to your rants. It really is contreproductive. You are the same guy who literally gushed over Bonk being the saviour then when he turned out to be a dud even blamed THAT on the coach (how many games without a goal Bonky?!??... 1433?).  Where do you get the idea that we have all thid "great talent"? You talked about Minnesota being nothing better than an AHL team. Half our team is one year removed (or less) from Hamilton. What would that make us?  The last time I checked the power play was 7th in the league. And our PK was amongst the best.  This without Kovalev and Koivu. Where should the power play be And-O with a good coach. Number one?

Last night they start the game with Ribs and Dagenais on the 4th line. Begin gets the boot and Pleks gets hurt. So ya all of a sudden Ribs needs to be given more ice time. (Duhhhhhhhhhh 2 centers out Begin and Pleks..do the math).  Perhaps theo should ahve played center. If you listened to the game on the radio Murray Wilson said that Koivu was still feeling the effects of the flu and was not 100% yet. I am wondering if this would have anything to do with Ribs getting more ice time then Koivu?

Strangely enough. Pittsburgh is 0 and 2 under new coach Therrien. Why? Because the same personell problems still exist that were there before. No defence, too many mistakes, and Mario not playing.

It very well could be the Habs are playing some guys to showcase them.  Unfortunately that's something we'll never know unless a deal goes down relatively soon involving a couple of prime suspects.

I really would like to see CJ play the kids more.  I refuse to believe Perez/Higgins are any worse a defensive liability than Dags.  I just can't understand how Dags is still on this team let alone getting the amount of ice time he is.

If the Habs aren't serious about Perez at this time then send him down so he can continue to improve his skills and keep his confidence up.

Habhead- I cannot disagree with you on the Dagenais thing. Not sure why he is still in Montreal other than  they are trying to make a deal. Unfortunately all of us sitting in an armchair are not privy to what i sgoing on behind the scenes. I suspect that something will happen soon that will make many of us say "Now I know whay they were playing those guys".

Can't agree more.

I think CJ is excellent, but this drives me crazy. I want to see more of Perezhogin and Higgins. A lot less of Dagenais. Ribeiro can be on the 4th line and 2nd power play unit.

Maybe one time when the game gets out of hand. Probobly on tuesday against ottawa. CJ should put Ribs on for the rest of the game and not let him come off. Let him be burned! I remember a certain coach who's name escapes me at the moment doing that. Maybe someone else remembers who it is?
