Hmmmm, I didn't know Huet was also making 5 mil a year . . .

Why is that relevant? He is paid to stop the puck. Do we accept less from a guy like Bouillon then we do from Souray because he makes less money??????

Haha, you're so damn predictable . . .

Of course we expect more from Souray than Bouillon . . . the fact is, there's no damn way Danis or Huet should be held to the same level as Theo with his experience and salary.

RYDER!

Huge goal for the Habs . . . 3-2 Mtl with just over 15 mins to go in the third!

We gotta hold on to this one.

Good 'ole penalties again . . . 3-3 with six mins left in the third.  Can we hold on this time for at least a sure point?

Well, at least we got a point, but it goes in the books as our seventh loss in a row on the road.

Huet played good considering it was his first start, Habs in general played a good game.  Referring was again suspect . . . tough call on Ryder in OT.

Kovalev should be back soon, hopefully Pleks isn't hurt too bad.

Jay- you can poop all over me for this but I will say it again. What was the call on Ryder in OT? 2 minutes for putting a tapemark on the guys butt? A total and utter joke. I know that you cannot use your stick to impede a guy in the "new NHL". But to call a guy because he stick checks a player on the hip with his stick is sad, especially in overtime (and yes I am aware that the Habs had a PP to start OT and that call was equally as pathetic). This game has been turned into a game of touch football and as far as I am concerened the best solution is to give everyone flags. When you can grab the guy's flag the whistle goes.

Thanks- I try to be predicatble. When I go to Tim Hortons for my coffee this morning I will watch who waits on me. If it is the "shift supervisor" I expect to get $6.75 worth of service rather than the usual $6.20 I get from the other girls

Bottom line is the game has changed. Players are going to have to stop using their sticks on the body. Period. That's the way it goes. It's tough to get used to, but how're you going to break the habit without calling that stuff?
