Well, our 'Cabbage Patch Coach' appears to have steady employment through this holiday season...although ya never know with Gainey!!! 


It was nice to see the Habs play a complete 60 minute game for once last night...and no matter what others might say...that IS ultimately the coaches responsibility.


And-o thinks CJ deserves his props for piecing together a solid game-plan for last night as well.  The special teams were WAYYYYYY better last night. 


Also, it is nice to see the coach getting more animated at times...and whatever was spoken after the Ducks left town - IT WORKED!!!  (notice how animated #99 gets...say???  Isn't he the "GREAT ONE"?  Wonder why???  Oh yeah - HE WINS AT EVERYTHING!!!)


...I just worry about some of CJ's "judgement" calls...but these are all things that we have discussed before (eg.  not calling time-outs to begin a 5-on-3 with a rested #1 PP unit...or at key times).


Anyway, lets hope that the Habs can string two beauties together!!!

BTW, PHX has 13 losses this year, so I'm not sure "HE WINS AT EVERYTHING!!!" maybe you meant

barry33 has new respect for And-O because And-O knows how to give credit when credit is due. barry33 likes that. I feel (and trust me this is all personal bias' aside..I am  a habs fan first and formeost) taht he is the man for the job. He shows patiance and class and he is growing with the young players and learning. I feel short term pain for long term gain.


He showed me something last night. He is still learning and is willing to change. That can only help us.

"Time-outs are FREE...increasing the number of shots is the easiest way to score more goals...and crashing the net is the least any player can contribute!!!"


(Honestly...about the time-outs thing...is the guy trying to get home sooner to watch the late news or what?!)

actually thats 3 things but i agree with what your saying , it was good to see murry get his nose dirty and begin give that puke nagy a shot in the face , nagy was running people all night .

If you saw his wife you would know why he is rushing home...but I will pass it along to him when I talk to him on the Xmas break.

Hey reddog, watch what you say against the former Halifax Mooseheads star!  I'm happy to see him doing well in the NHL.  He was a can't-miss prospect when he was down here.  The guy's a sniper, and his "edge" is what brought him as far as it has, compared to, say, a Ramzi Abid.  Who?  Exactly.
