According to a few sources this morning, Mats Sundin got very much in the face of Jeff O`Neil recently following the game on Saturday Night, calling him out for his poor defensive play as of late. "Things got really intense, really fast," according to a source close to the scene.

True... but did it help last time?  I honestly can't remember.  As for Sundin, who I think is a good guy, maybe some of those rumours of him wanting a real shot at the Cup is true and he could be moving on by next season.  Should be something to keep an eye on.  Of course, as mentioned earlier by another poster, the same could possibly be said for our captain...

another ex-leaf hab captain? If he's itchy for a cup, I can think of a dozen better places to travel than down the 401

if i remember correctly   the habs bounced back from a slump after koivu and ribs did some practice shoving   so it did work.    i even remember how a lot of people took rib's side  and demanded that koivu leave montreal for good cuz of that.   but now we know better.   ribs always kinda reminded me of the little brother causeing trouble    then mocking the oldest broither while the oldest is getting scolded by the parents for somthin the little brother did himself. or maybe im just remember my childhood and my younger brothers.

I had forgotten about him.  He was only a Leaf for a year, so I wouldn't hold that against him.

Oh, I meant that it would be an interesting situation to watch... not that we should bring him here.  But he should give quite a boost to any team that does get him, that is, if he does move on.
