 My last post was Dec1. under the topic again!


 That post I mentioned that we need to fill holes and Gainey should do what Boston did and trade Theo to fill those holes!


 Is it possible that Gainey is waiting for more losses to stack up to justify giving CJ the boot?


 Gainey needs to wake up and do his job! He isn't even capped out and he isn't improving the team.


 There are moves he should of done in the off season while there was elete players like Neidermeyer, Pronger and Kariya that could of helped us. Now the availability of those players are hard to come by. This is where the GM has to earn his pay cheque and brain storm to improve his team. He went with an inferior defense and a one line offense and now he has to correct that and fill holes. Not to mention an overrated goalie!


 One more question, Why would he sign Theo long term and Saks for one season? Did he really see Theo as the most valuable?

Finally! Someone with the common sense to realize that Gainey has dropped the ball here. He did absolutely nothing to improve this team in the off season. Signed Kovalev (almost screwed that up), uhmm..Dandeneault...HUGE signing there..Signs Vandermeer to a one way contract and he does not even make the team. But alas since he is the boss he has a scapegoat in Julien. If you want to finger point boys look upstairs. Because I will be honest, as much as you have lost faith in CJ, I have ZERO faith that Gainey knows what he is doing.

Does anyone know what Papa Gilette's relationship is with BG? Is he keeping him on a leash, because BG seemed to do a lot better in Dallas. Having Modano and great value goaltending didn't hurt him there, though.
