the only confirmation i see is that he's on the block. and that he's not played all that well this year (could be because his team stinks.) What is the source of the rumour? What is the offer?

It was listed on the website spector's trade rumours. It seems he will be traded but no sure when or to whom.

I find that all of these trade rumors never come true, especially with Bob Gainey as your GM. Think about it this way: how many people predicted Kovalev would become a Hab? Probably nobody.

A big trade will happen this year; I'm sure of that, but it will almost definitely be one we won't foresee.

You are so right about Bob Gainey. His poker face is unparalled. This keeps other teams guessing while building our club's short and long term goals.

He is a wizard at the trading desk.

That contract's going to be up when there's no one named Bush or Clinton in the White house and the Penguins have become the Las Vegas Desert Dragons, or whatever the marketers come up with
