Well, here's a funny one. I was at a networking event this afternoon in Halifax, where I met a lady who, when I told her I was a Chartered Accountant, said that her brother-in-law was also a CA, but "in a non-traditional role". I asked her what that meant, and she said he was in sports. When pressed further, it turns out her brother-in-law is Fred Steer, Chief Financial Officer of the Montreal Canadiens! I asked the lady if he was ready to retire, which sadly he is not. (Although I see his picture on another site, and he seems to be of "a certain age". Maybe I should send Tonya Harding over to kneecap him.) Wouldn't that be my dream job!
