Who is the next Hab traded???

And-o thinks that Bulis and Souray will be traded next...on the same day...to the same team!

...this would explain Bulis getting time on the top line.  And, truly And-o believes that Sheldon wants out!!!

Anyone else notice how much more determined Sheldon Souray looked last night???

Yes, but I thought it was because with all goin on he stepped up. Are you saying he stepped up to show he is improved hence would look good to another teams GM

AWOL thinks that Souray wants to stay in Montreal. AWOL thinks that Souray knows he's appreciated in the city that kickstarted his career. AWOL thinks Ando should go back to referring to himself in the first person...

I think bulis saw time on the first line because he is defensively aware and has a scoring touch, not because he is going to get traded. I honestly dont think ANYONE will be traded until the new year. You cant judge the team properly right now because...it just isnt a team right now, we're scraping for points with an injured team and to trade away players that normally wouldnt have to fill the roles they're playing now would be unfair both to the team and the player. We have a good group, everyone likes each other to what i hear and our team is really close.I think that these past couple weeks have made the team stronger, they all got pissed off and were all on the same page. Im glad the team has the week off, this gives MANY players rest they need and gives Kovalev another week to be ready for action. The slump is in my opinion over and Anahiem is going to feel it when we meet them next saturday!

barry33 thinks that Bulis saw time on the top line because the trainer had the flu

Who was the last Hab traded?  I don't recall a trade recently?  Garon for Bonk?

Wouldn't that be considered a Hamilton trade, not a Habs trade. Just to put my two cents in, Souray isn't going anywhere.

why does the salted one (sorry  just looked like so much fun) get the feeling that hossa would have seen just as much ice time as murray?  i personally don't want to see any trades right at this moment.   to hard to judge ours and other teams players this early in the season. but the break should be a good time to get the whole team back so we can evaluate the team properly. koivu should be back soon as should kovy   and if im not mistaken  markov's suspention should be over now (i THINK its been 3 games...)

Nil d agrees fully with salty.  Nil d feels we should make use of the down time this week to mend bruises and wobbly knees, and then give the full team time to mature as a team, and the young'uns to mature as individuals.  Nil d likes the youth on this team - Hossa was not part of our future (not sure Murray is either), but Perezhogin, Plekanec & Higgins surely are.

I wouldn't trade Bulis but i wouldn't play him on the first line.  I think he played there because he does get alot of chances and skates very well.  Its too bad he didn't have hands to go along with his other abilities.  CJ's hands were tied also with so many injuries.  Where did Souray ask to get traded.  I've haven't heard or seen this mentioned anywhere.  Or is someone trying to create their own story because we have a full week off and it will be boring.  Oh one more thing maybe we could cut Dags hands off and give them to Bulis, Pierre does have some goal scoring hands but nothing else, and Jan doesn't have the greatest hands in the world, just  a thought.

i still think bulis works better with line mates who create chances with grit instead of skill, which is why he played so well with begin. the injury bug hits and the line is split apart and now the 2 aren't playing so well.  notice the goal for bulis in the LA game, begin set him up for it.   but it would be nice to give him dags hands, but im definately not doing the surgery.  as for the souray trade rumor   i  read a couple posts sayin somthin about him wanting to be closer to LA to be closer to his kid(s?) but could be just assumptions caused by his personal problems with out actual proof.  not too sure though.

Ribs should be next to go (that is, if he has any market value). I doubt a guy like Gainey wants to put up with Ribs' garbage as it's harmful to the team.
