I just checked him out on hockeydb.com. He did indeed score one, in 2001-02. Can't say I remember that one. I guess it's not big news anymore. You have a keen eye, Zulrath.

This is unrelated, but they showed on TV a man throwing a football at a piece of plywood with a small hole in it. I know he was quite the distance, but he threw it and got it through the hole and won a cool million good for him. I thought they did that years ago in the NHL too where the board was in front of the net and someone would shoot from center Ice and try to get it through a small hole.
I've seen that a few times between periods, usually some nervous chick(or guy) shooting 5 feet wide
You know, that's not as easy as it seems. For someone who actually plays hockey to try shooting without skates on, you're two inches shorter and the angle of the stick changes. The tendency is to shoot wide - wide right if you shoot right-handed, and wide left if you shoot left-handed. That's why Sidney Crosby had trouble putting the first couple of shots in Jay Leno's dryer.

All kidding aside who would you trade if the Pens offered. And other board members please this is just an innocent question
I would trade the entire Habs team and call up the entire Hamilton team, and build around Sidney. I might be kidding on this, but then again maybe not.

Maybe a little greatness when it comes to an awful lot of fond memories of the habs over the past 35 years. Guru no, but I do enjoy being able to state an opinion without being called names or worse. Thats why I love sharing my thoughts with all the classy posters (family )on this board

Well said. I've got friends from all over the spectrum, and never had a problem with any opinion, as long as it comes with a bit o' respect. Also, I find I'm not gonna learn a damned thing if I don't listen to what they have to say, and believe me, I've got a lot to learn.
Thats what it is all about. A man from Cape Cod can share an opinion with someone who may be 3000 miles away. Its great and I will always enjoy this board, until im thrown off by Mario lol

Thanks for the compliment Nil. I was just doing some research and apparently Damian Rhodes also has an NHL goal, scored in the same fashion as Billy Smith's.
