Bonk has to go

Once again, Radek Bonk gets a penalty at a crucial time and Sabres score.

Come Dc 10th, when everyone aside from Kovy will be back, I think Bonk has to be placed on waivers (althought no one will pick him up) and send him a message.

I agree, even when Markov and Komi, Koivu and for that matter Kovy are all back,   he needs to go.  Boy talk about a dissapointment   I was so excited when he came over thought there were going to be big things from him

I cannot agree more. What a dumb trade. Some have said that he has done his job as a defensive forward. But we have an overabundance of those in Sundstrom, Begin, Bulis, etc. Why did we need another player who can kill penalties but can't find the net?!?????

Bye Bye Radick. No wonder Ottawa shipped you to La La Land.

He definitely needs to go; that's a given. But waivers isn't the best place to put him. I think this season we have lost enough players for nothing. I would like to see Gainey try to trade him to a team who is weak on defence, and in exchange can give us a big center who can score.

I'm not sure if that would happen... who wants Bonk in the rut he is currently playing in?

See, that's probably Gainey's current dilemma, which is why Bonk is still here.

It's ok to be tough on him and I too am trying to figure him out....but take a look at his linemates. Usually Bulis(and we all know how offensively gifted he is) and Sundstrum(who also won't be breaking any offensive records) How would Bonk look alongside Ryder? Maybe give him a chance. Maybe as good as Ribeiro!!!!

Bonk is in a funk (and maybe playing hurt), but enough with the impatience guys. Leave him on the 3rd line to be that big defensive centre every team needs. Hopefully he'll come around.
