My list:

  1. For my good friend Claude. And-O's wish that you get canned to come true and you be allowed to go coach in a city where 14 wins and some overtime losses with a very young and injured team will be appreciated. Preferably someplace warm so you can work on that golf game and I can come visit in February

  2. For Bob Gainey balls. Seems his Christmas tree has lots of lights but no balls.

  3. Theo- Santa can you please give this guy a can of confidence? I truly feel that he has the tools to be  agood goalie, however the problem now seems to be between his ears.

  4. Souray- Baywatch- The complete DVD Collection

  5. Bonk-  Glasses

  6. Ribiero- One way ticket to Aneheim. Failing that, I ask for what the Tin Man wanted in the wizard of Oz. A heart.

  7. Bouillon- stilts

  8. Dagenais- skating lessons in the Tie Domi power skating school

  9. Kovalev- Ligaments (one set only)

  10. Koivu- see Kovalev

  11. Zednick- What the Lion wanted in the Wizard of Oz..A brain

  12. Doug Jarvis- "skin thickening cream". You will need it

  13. Ryder- Linemates

  14. Perez- Patience Santa. He has a long and bright future in this league and needs to remember that

  15. Rick Green- baby powder for that head (if Santa does not come through ask CJ, he has lots)

  16. Rivet- Respect. It is long overdue

  17. Begin- See Rivet

  18. For the team as a whole a truckload of Varethane for Hardwood floors. Seems that they are in dire need of "finish".

You know, I thought to myself just after the trade if Theo coulda got us Joe.  But they got that other goalie there, Nabakov.  So it isn't likely (maybe a 0.01% chance.)  But, I still feel SJ owes us from the Hacket deal.

Why? Hackett I always thought that the Hackett deal wasn't a bad one?

Plus its rare that a team will go out and trade for a superstar to just trade him off to another team. You'd have to put up alot to get a superstar thats a new arrival in a city. Joe is staying in SJ.

If there's a Thornton coming north from SJ, it won't be Joe!
