Hossa and Ward are hardly tearing it up these days.  In Montreal, they'd be eternally used as call ups.  Anyway, way to soon to even think of axing the coach.  It was like I predicted - 3-2 loss.  Any with a long litany of regulars out, the ones in the line up had to play more.  I think they lost steam.  Same thing as in TO and they actually had a good first period (from what I heard) vs OTT. So, CJ is not a problem.  BG is not and his job is safer than Fort Knox at the moment.  Theo, I couldn't care less if he went, really, but I don't expect it to happen.  Honestly, I was looking at the teams in the West, the ones that might take a bad trade, and there really isn't anyone I can see making an impact.  Maybe Mara (d-man from Fenix who's got some points).  Other than that, why would we trade trade some ifs and buts for some maybes and could-be's?  Look at the Thornton trade - 1 star for 2 maybes and a okey-dokey.  Hope you get my picture.

Who do you want for what we got?  Theo for Brewer and 1st rounder?  Ribs and 4th for Nagy and 3rd rounder?

Let me add before people think I'm serious with the trades - these wouldn't happen and they are things I've heard people say.  If there is a trade, expect it to be a Montreal star plus useless part for a rising star, utility and a pick.  Now, if I turn out to be off the mark, please call me on it and tell me where I went wrong.

I must disagree, I watched the Bruins all three players had an immediate im pact ,and I can assure you the next time we play Boston you will see a much improved team (bruins that is) that was a great trade for them

That trade for the Bruins was an acknowledgement that this is not the year for them. They will be improved because they can't get any worse. But Boyes, Bergeron, etc... still have plenty of maturing to do.

And if we take the first game as an example, then the Kovalev injury must have been good for us.
