Agreed, but so has Theo... and how much less does Danis get paid? Also, we have yet to see what DANIS can do... we've seen Theo during his rollercoaster games.
I don't want to see him as our #1, but he shouldn't be in Hamilton he should be our #2. He should be playing our next game. Also, if we get rid of Theo (not saying it will, I'm sure it won't, but a lot of us want him gone) Danis will need to step up for a bit. I realize he can't be a #1, but with the way Theo has been playing lately, they seem to be playing the same. Granted, I have never seen Huet play? Guess he's a good bench warmer.
I'm not happy about the Theo situation either. Just that I don't think Danis is ready to be a number one, by any stretch. That's all I mean - and I agree he looks like he could turn out to be a solid guy (I like his calm style).
So if we trade Theo for another goalie, fine. If we trade Theo but don't get another goalie I'm not so sure. In fact, I'd say that's either throwing in the towel or reckless gambling...

Agreed. Maybe he will turn around, but I doubt it. I also think, if we are going to trade him, to trade him sooner then later because he will be worth more. As someone said, sending him down to Hamilton will just decrease his value.
i love what a losing streak does to everyone, wake up it wasn't theo's fault we lost
quit trying to find excuses on why we got beat when the truth was right on the ice.....buffalo played better then us, they scored 3 goals and we scored 2.....simple as that
we had chances to put them away but did not, took some stupid penalties, that second goal on theo was nicer then you think, that was a well placed shot....yes he might have started to go down to early and yes he is a small goalie but still it wasn't like he was floppin all over the ice. the OT goal was a nice pass and shouldn't have even happened if we were with any position at all
theo has held us in many games this year and almost won us won tonight...another goal for us sure wouldn't have hurt
look at the bright side, we got a point with 3 of our top players out and the kids got some ice time and experience
