What do you think? Big contract, 3 mil, but could probably be had more or less for free. He's a cup winner, so...Before his injury this year he had 6 straight 20+ goal seasons on defensive teams (in New Jersey's case a team that rolled 4 lines too). Even got 34 goals for Anaheim and went to the finals with them.


 


Also, somebody on the other, inferior board said that he was big and slow. But I remember him as just the opposite: typical small, quick, like a lot of the first wave of European players. Can somebody confirm?

Rumours are that he's going to be dumped because of his salary. Anaheim wants to rebuild, looks like.

Do you guys think he would be a good addition to our team? I'm not sure of our current salary cap stance, 3 millions a lot of money.

I would like a strong forward, but I think BG needs to concentrate on the defensive aspect of our team, as many have said before.
