I went to a Junior "A" game at the old Halifax Forum tonight. Playing for the visiting Yarmouth Mariners was my best friend's son, Georges d'Entremont, and one of the Halifax forwards was a young man named Banfield (I forget his first name). Georges and Banfield played on a line together on a Bantam team a few years ago. Who was the third member of that line???

Crosby :)- By the way guys, I ha dthe pleasure of meeting Steve Penny last weekend. He has a son playing with the Miramichi Timberwolves (same league Nil'd is talking about, Jr A) where I live (no he is not a goalie) and Steve and his wife and other son were in town for the weekend. What a nice guy (and his wife could be pass for a model). Anyone remember when Penny came out of nowhere in the playoffs that year? I still remember being at the old Forum and the organist playing "Pennies from Heaven"

Although I don't know the answer to your trivia question, I meant to get out to that game, completely forgot it was tonight. How did it go?
The Mariners got bombed 6-2. It was an awful game, and the reffing was horrible. The answer to the question is a young man with the same last name as you, Z.

Bingo! My friend was at the game, and was telling me about the time Sidney stayed a weekend at his house. He has pictures, but I haven't seen them yet.

I remember him well; came out in the playoffs of 83/84. Burned bright and didn't last long. His brother live next to mine in Halifax. Apparently a nice guy too. (Don't know about his wife, though...........). It's fun bumping into old Habs, isn't it? I saw Mike MacPhee at a game in Halifax a few years ago. Another nice guy.

I don't often run into old Habs, or new Habs for that matter. However, there was one time they had a Special Hockey game in Yarmouth, it was Yvon Lambert vs Dave "Tiger" Williams. I never got to see Lambert, but as we were going in, Tiger Williams came up to me noticing I had my Habs jacket on and said "you're going to have to pay double for wearing that"
