On Tuesday Nov 29, 2005, Montreal travels to Ottawa to play the Senators.
FrenzyTours is organzjing a day trip to Otta leaving Montreal and coming back folowing the game. I'll be there. If interested, visit the GOHABS.com Xpress page for details on how you can get on the GOHABS bus!
On Thursday Feb 1st, 2006, the Canadiens play the Bruins in Boston. Norskipaul will be in town and we will be watching the game on the big screen at la Cage aux Sports inside the Bell Centre. Join us. Hope to see you there.
I will be at that Habs/Bruins game. Look for some guy wearing a red Montreal sweater with Carbonneau's name/number on the back. That'll be me (I highly doubt there will be another Guy Carbonneau fan at the game, but if it's a really handsome dude you'll know you saw Johnny USA). I'm taking my boys to the Bruins/Laffs game tonight. Don't know who to root for/against. I guess I could hope for a tie and then for each team to lose 2 guys to knee injuries during the shoot-out. Nah, that would be too "Toronto" for this site.
Go Habs Go. The Bruins and Laffs both perform the same fucntion as a David Oreck hotel vacuum. They suck...
I might be going to the Habs - Ottawa game on the 29th as well ( School Trip ) So if i go, ill let you know and it would be nice to meet you.
And about the Cage aux sports. If your a big group make sure you go MANY hours in advance or make early reservations because we had to squeeze 8 into a booth for 5 during the habs leafs game. Was still fun, but i would have rathered to not see the leafs leave with the W.

Johab it would be great to meet you. I will be at the game and I'll give you my cell number and maybe we can meet.
As for the tip on the Cage ... I know I know . I've done it many time before for all sorts of events ... Stanley cup playoffs, Habs, F1, Super Bowl, Soccer World Cup, etc.
Just wondering...Do any sports bars, Irish pubs or whatever in Montreal show English soccer games? I go crazy if I have to miss a United game...
Of course they do! There are several Irish pubs in the Montreal downtown core, and there's a huge Sports bar called Champs Sports Bar that shows everything. Champs is located in the Latin quarter of Montreal.
Great, if you don't mind getting up early on the saturday, it would be great way to warm up for the Canadiens game...It'll be quite a day for me no matter what!
