The Canadiens second leading scorer must remain inactive for at least two weeks before he can resume physical activity.

Sportsnet.ca -- Montreal Canadiens star Alexei Kovalev emerged from arthroscopic surgery today extremely satisfied with the procedure.


Contacted in Pittsburgh, Kovalev told Sportsnet, "Everything went well and there is no damage to the knee. I'm relieved the operation is a success and I can't wait to come back and help the team."

Great news. I hope the Doc has the same feedback. He was supposed to speak after his arrival from Pittsburgh.


Like someone said, it would be a great Christmas gift to have him back along with Bulis, etc....
