Were the guys in the booth last night wearing Leaf's cheerleader outfits? Never heard such biased national coverage of a game, like something you'd hear from a Florida guy trying to whip up the home audience (all 5 of them)

Who was the guy doing the colour commentary? So obnoxious, practically going Yippee!! everytime there was a bad turnover in the Leaf's favour.

On my Dish I had I think Bob Cole and Harry Neal is that CBC, because they sounded like cheerleaders for the leafs. I remember years ago listening to the Habs on Radio with Danny Gallivan and Bob Cole. Back then Cole did Radio for the Habs. Unless I am wrong

Danny Gallivan did the play-by-play and his colour man was Dick Irvin.  Dick's father, Dick Sr., used to coach the Habs.  Dick Junior was the one who introduced the two #12's last night.  He must be 75 by now. Gallivan, God rest his soul, was a classic (and a good Nova Scotian to boot! )

CBC makes me want to puke. As an Anglo living in Montreal, I find myself embracing the French culture a lot more than the prototypical Anglo-Canadian culture.

I was only able to watch one period of the game on CBC before I had to switch to RDS. I'd much rather hear "et le buuuuuut!" than two old farts getting off on how great Tie "I look like a Gremlin" Domi is.

Funny enough when I was standing in front of the bell centre prior to the game, I was talking to Randy about the CBC pro-Maple Leafs bias.

I said at least in the 80s and 90's Dick irvin would be also in the booth with Cole and Neale to balance the commentary.

Just think to all Canadiens fans in Canada, this is OUR tax dollars at work here!

Yes, the CBC "National" coverage does stink with those two.  They do the Leaf games regularly, so they really are homers.  Harry Neal is a joke also, he gets so many things wrong it's amazing.

At least most of the Toronto media are aware of the fact the Leafs were very lucky on Saturday to come away with two points . . .
