Is by far the worst ref in the NHL. He's not biased hes just dumb. he makes some questiable calls then when Mario gets a stick in the face from Dandy he doesn't call anything. Then other times he doesn't make any calls on interfernce and slashing and hooking thats blatent. Then Begin hits Talbot with his head down and gets a misconduct. Not to bright of a ref, for either side he was bad.

There is no doubt, its bad enough you are playing a tough team. Its worse when you know a ref is against you. I say he needs to go.(Frazer that is)

I have to disagree on one point. Kerry fraser is BOTH biased and dumb. (And perhaps a little blind). I sat across from him on a plane one time (he was traveling first class and I had been upgraded) and he went on and on about how he likes to "keep games close." In other words, if one team gets too far ahead, he makes sure the other team gets a power play or two. He also is no fan of the Habs, as he made clear during that flight in his own prissy way. So if it's the Habs that are losing, he'll do what he can to make sure they do lose. My experience as a hockey fan watching him is that he makes a lot of bad calls and an inordinate number of calls that go against Montreal. In fact, we were joking about it as last night's game began. Little did I know that he would indeed stick it to the bleu-blanc-et-rouge yet again...

Veeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry interesting, Desi!  I said that about Fraser, how he always "equalizes" games.  Now you have proof, right from the horse's (ass's) mouth.


I'll dig out some of your great-uncle Busher's stats for you.

The only reason I call Kerry Fraser the worst referee in the NHL today is that Don Koharski has retired (at least I think he has).  He was indeed the all-time worst.   (And it pains me to say it, but a fellow Nova Scotian.   )

I just thought of that  Re,ember when Schonfield coached  I think NJ and he went after Koharski in the hallway and yelled at him   Go Have another Donut.
